Have You Dealt With Breast Cancer?

Now it’s your turn. If you are a breast cancer survivor, we would be honored to have you share your story with our readers. How did you fight this disease? What lifestyle changes have you made to help prevent a recurrence? We want to know!

  1. I have had breast cancer for 4 years. The cancerous lump and 20 lymph nodes were removed. I choose not to do chemo or radiation but am on an oral chemo product, femara at first and now on aromasin. Side effects are fairly minimal. Since I was diagnosed, I eat more fruit, raw vegetables and less sugar. Also take several supplements to boost my immune system. I make an effort to excerise at least 4-5 days a week by cardio and weights and walk whenever the weather permits. I keep a positive attitude and contribute that to my faith in God. As I have 3 daughters, I advise them to do self-exams often.
