Have you hurt yourself doing yoga?

In our September story “Poses Without Pain,” we learned that pushing yoga poses too far can cause pains, strains and sprains that can keep you away from the mat for weeks—or even months.

Now it’s your turn. Have you suffered an injury in your yoga practice, and if so, how did you treat it? We want to know!

  1. Yes I have hurt myself doing yoga but its when I push myself beyond my limits. To heal I will rest and do retorative poses, eat well, and massage the body part that is injured.

    I usually recover quickly so that I can jump back onto my mat.
