How did Steve Jobs affect your life?

In our November/December story “The Core of Steve Jobs,” we learned that the late Apple CEO brought energy and passion to personal electronics—and helped spawn a technological age that has touched the lives of nearly everyone, including apps and devices that many foresee revolutionizing healthcare.

  1. The technological age has affected me in many ways. I returned to school to gain knowlege about computers and software. Then got a job helping others with computers and software. Currrently, I am using that technolgy at home for business and entertainment. acptuser at hotmail dot com

  2. Steve Jobs reflected some of the worst aspects of the technological take over of the American mind. He oversaw the creation of technological devices that didn't allow hacking, creativity or any kind of user freedom. ("The consumer will just 'mess' it up" was his attitude.) As an executive to work for, he was insufferable. And he never gave away a dime of his fortune. Yuck.
