Do you avoid gluten?

In our January story “Goodbye Gluten,” we learned how gluten and other grain components, especially those from wheat, can harm health and result in symptoms that include digestive troubles, fatigue and brain fog.

Now it’s your turn. Do you or a loved one suffer from wheat or gluten sensitivity, and how do you deal with it? We want to know!

  1. I have been gluten free for almost three years now. I have celiac (so does my mom,dad and sister). It is really a blessing. It has caused me to eat a healthy diet. I am very thankful I found this out when I did.

  2. I haven't been religious about avoiding gluten lately, but I do buy gluten free when there is an option. I am not celiac, but I do have ulcerative colitis. After reading a book called Wheat Belly, I tried gluten free for a month and really didn't notice any difference. I certainly noticed the difference however once I went back on gluten. The only gluten that I ingest now is pasta as rice pasta leaves much to be desired.
