How Do You Stay Fit?

In our June story “Pedal Power,” we learned how bicycling helps build strength and endurance while providing a useful transportation option, especially in urban areas.

Now it’s your turn. Do you bicycle for fitness? If not, what workout do you follow? We want to know!

  1. I weight train 3 to 4 times a week for 30-45 min and have for over 10 year. I am 55 yrs old and work outat the same level as I did 10 yrs ago! I also walk a lot in at my place of work . On weekends I like to get out into nature. I would like to get a good bike and really get into riding, maybe this summer.

  3. I love walking, so I try to walk to work whenever possible, and I also go for walks in the am before work and/or after work. I also do yoga anywhere from 10 - 30 minutes a day about 4 days per week. I have been trying to do more biking but my bike doesn't fit my body shape/size which hinders the enjoyment.
